SUMMER CAMP AT HEMSTED HOUSES
New London, CT ?????Bring history to life with an unforgettable camp experience Monday, July 31st through Friday, August 4th, from 9 am to 1 pm! Step back in time and enjoy the smell of fresh bread as you learn how to bake in our historic kitchen.
Learn what school was like for children in the past, and try out the chores children of yesteryear were tasked with. When the ???work??? is done, play games of the past and create a diary to record your own history!
Children will be guided along the way by great storytellers for a fun and educational week. $150 per child.
Scholarships are available for New London residents and past participants.
This camp is supported by the Chester Kitchings Family Foundation.
The Hempsted Houses are located at: 11 Hempsted Street, New London, CT.
