Bleu Music is a group of dynamic student musicians who play a repertoire of fusion jazz, funk and blues. They also play popular standards from artists like Van Morrison, John Mayer, and Dave Matthews, as well as some original songs.

The band ranges from ages 14 to 17. Dylan Routhier (flute & piano), and Keb Hutchings-McMahon (acoustic and electric guitar) have played at the South East Regional All State competition, First Night Chatham and as part of the CJazz Conservatory Jazz Ensemble. Ben Andrade (drums) and Ethan Zayatz (bass) are also part of Bleu Music.

“These guys played last spring at Preservation Hall in Wellfleet and blew everyone away while channeling ‘Cannonball’ Adderly and Miles Davis,” said John Braden, WOMR’s Executive Director.

Jazz vocalist Chev Hardy evokes the greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Billie Holiday. She has performed at a number of venues on Cape Cod, including the 2017 Cape Cod Women’s Music Festival at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis. “Chev is an excellent singer, as anyone who has heard her knows, and she’s a great addition to the band,” added Braden.

Tickets are $15, $10 for students and are available at WOMR.org and at APACape.org.
