CALL TO ARTISTS
The Pawtucket Arts Collaborative is pleased to announce an Open Call to artists working in all media for Faces and Figures, a juried exhibition to showcase art of the human face and of the human figure.
The human face and figure are among the most enduring subjects of artistic creativity from prehistoric times to the present. Mastering their depiction is a mainstay of artistic training. Contemporary interpretations in every medium challenge and engage artists worldwide. Whether drawn, painted, sculpted, etched, stitched, molded, printed, photographed, collaged, assemblaged, or tattooed, the human figure in art is both intensely personal and universal as an expression of the human experience.
