Gov. Raimondo Cuts the Ribbon at New Global R&D Center and Manufacturing Plant
As pictured, Gov. Raimondo was joined by (left-to-right) Quonset’s Steven King, CEO of Finlay USA Steve Olyha, RI Secretary of Commerce Stefan Pryor, and North Kingstown Town Council President Richard A. Welch.
Finlays unveiled their new global research and development center and manufacturing plant at Quonset Business Park recently. A global leader in the development and distribution of tea and coffee extracts, Finlays’ new facility includes 28,800 sq. feet of space.
“The new Finlays facility is another example of Rhode Island’s continued economic momentum. Quonset continues to be a leading force in Rhode Island’s job creation and economic development,” stated Gov. Gina Raimondo.
The new facility will allow Finlays to expand their production capacity to better meet the increasing global demand for tea and coffee products. This latest addition to the Park will also position Quonset to promote economic growth for the state.
