CUMBERLAND HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Rep. Mia Ackerman (D-Dist. 45, Cumberland, Lincoln) hosted a Flag Day celebration at John J. McLaughlin Cumberland Hill Elementary School as she has for the last nine years.
Representative Ackerman spoke to the students, who sang patriotic songs during a flag-raising ceremony.
Flag Day celebrates the birthday of the Stars and Stripes, which was adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.
