Building the Pollinator’s Garden

A Community Project at Baldwin Elementary
For over a year, The Empowerment Factory has been working to build a community pollinator’s garden at Baldwin Elementary in Pawtucket.
Throughout the spring in the COZ program, Gail and Wendy have been educating the 2nd graders on bees and butterflies.
This summer we will eventually be working with the kids on gardening in order to create a welcoming community space outside at school.
Earlier this week, we worked on collecting dirt and filling up the raised beds.
