The Trump administration is moving forward with the rollback even as they acknowledge that their?? new plan is likely to cause up to 1,400 premature deaths??per year??from pollution-related illnesses.

Faith communities are called to a prophetic role???to speak truth to power. IPL mobilized thousands of people of faith to successfully advocate for the Clean Power Plan three years ago, and today we???re rolling up our sleeves to continue advocating for the clean air we need in order to thrive.
This announcement comes on the heels of a summer filled with extreme weather. The western United States has been engulfed in wildfires, while other parts of the country have endured massive flooding from severe storms. The impacts of climate change are already here.
The Clean Power Plan was created to address global warming and set the first ever national limits on carbon pollution.??This rollback is the most recent attack on our clean air, announced just weeks after the Trump administration released their plans to dismantle the clean car standards.
