WORCESTER, MA, –The Worcester Center for Crafts, Worcester Art Museum, Technocopia, and EcoTarium have collaborated to create Worcester Summer Fun, a new digital resource for youth programming, found at worcestersummerfun.com.

This new gateway website, which went live on February 27, 2019, provides a common digital space for people to discover a variety of local summer programming options for youth.

This website’s collaborative roots symbolize how our institutions can think and work side-by-side, signaling a renewed interest in collaboration among area non-profit organizations and dedication to how we serve our community and its youth.

This collaboration was sparked by the realization that by working together the Worcester Art Museum, Technocopia, EcoTarium, and the Worcester Center for Crafts could offer a more inclusive vision of Worcester-based opportunities for youth in the summer months.

Between the four organizations offerings include: nature and science based programs; ceramic, metal, and glass working classes; teen art academy and interdisciplinary arts programs; and STEAM based programs—more than any one organization could offer.

Sharing a common website as an information base for parents and guardians allows the public to learn about additional programs they might have otherwise not discovered.

These institutions–Technocopia, EcoTarium, Worcester Center for Crafts, and the Worcester Art Museum—are glad to come together to present this new opportunity for parents and guardians to discover a wider range of local opportunities for the youth in their lives.

Information on the Summer 2019 programs at the partnering organizations and links to the individual sites and online registration will be available through the new website Worcester Summer Fun at worcestersummerfun.com today.
