JONATHAN RING – REGISTER OF DEEDS

Ring Campaign in the News!

Dear Friends,

Did you see the news last week!

The Gloucester Daily Times reported on my candidacy for Register of Deeds. Go to: News (jonathanring.org) to link to the article!

Enough of Duff

The article is great but when you read through it, you can see that Eileen Duff, the Democratic candidate, is already launching her negative attack by claiming I have a “political agenda.”

Unfortunately, Duff is no stranger to political agendas. As you may recall – Duff, as a current member of the Governor’s Council, is no stranger to using her influence to try to either push for or derail judicial nominees – going so far as to attempt a religious test on one prospective  judicial nominee: UPDATE: Gloucester councilor quizzes judicial nominee about religious beliefs | Local News | gloucestertimes.com.

And despite the fact that the Massachusetts Bar vetted and did not find another judicial nominee, Ed O’Reilly, had the qualifications for an endorsement, Duff still persisted to play politics and push for that candidate: Bar group blocks lawyer’s chance at judgeship | Local News | gloucestertimes.com.

Is it because she thought he was qualified or is it because he contributed a lot of money to her campaigns: OCPF – OCPF: Registered Filers? With a record like this, how would she staff the registry if she gets elected? I think we’ve had enough of Duff and enough of the Democratic political agendas!

My platform is simple – as I stated: “I am running because I want your deed and hard-earned assets to be secure and for you to receive the best customer and recording service in Massachusetts” and that “attention needs to be paid to the growing threat of title fraud and other property rights.”

The previous Register John O’brien understood this, and so I hope to build on his legacy and build upon his work of promoting the Property Fraud Watch program and better securing your property rights!

That is why I need your help today. Please consider a donation to the Ring campaign by going to: Donate (jonathanring.org). I am up against a well-funded political machine, so every little bit helps!

Thank you again for your support!
