Please join us to meet the young woman who hoodwinked George Washington’s army –
Deborah Sampson. Portrayed by Lady J (Historical Portrayals by lady J). A Massachusetts native, Corporal Sampson is the only woman known to have disguised herself as a man and serve in the Continental Army without getting caught!
This program will be presented by Historical Portrayals by Lady J and is supported in part by a grant from the Attleboro Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
