Mustang Day at the Newport Car Museum
Saturday, Sept. 13
10am – 2pm
All Mustang clubs and owners are invited to attend. Committed to coming are the Cape Cod Mustang Club, Mustangs of Massachusetts, and the Mustang Car Club of New England, all of which foster – through shows, cruise-ins and other gatherings – the “preservation of the breed” and camaraderie among people who love Mustangs and have fun driving them.
Meet for free in the 350-space parking lot for some mingling, then check out the Museum where over 100 astonishing automobiles will have their engines ready for inspection during Hoods Up Weekend.
Tickets online or at the door. Open 10-5, with free parking and a giant gift shop.

HOODS UP! Weekend occurs the second weekend of each month and allows for an up-close and personal inspection of the engines on over 100 cars in seven galleries. Saturday is also Mustang Day, where Mustang clubs and owners of the marque gather at the Newport Car Museum (approx. 10am – 1pm).

The long-established New England Cars & Coffee is coming to the Newport Car Museum for the first time ever! And it’s FREE.
Join others on the Newport Car Museum grounds as enthusiasts from all over the Northeast roll in to show off everything from rare exotics to vintage classics, muscle monsters to modern marvels.
With support from Hi-Tech Performance and coffee by Kaffeology, rows of jaw-dropping rides, conversation and car culture await! It’s not just another meet; it’s an automotive celebration at one of the most stunning car museums in the country. (Museum will open early at 9 a.m.; tickets for access will be available for purchase at the front door.)

The Newport Car Museum, with a private collection of over 100 cars displayed in seven galleries tells the story of Ford/Shelby, Corvettes, World Cars, Fin Cars, Porsches, Mopars and American Muscle Cars.
