What makes the Newport Car Museum stand out?

For starters, the private collection of 100+ classic, rare, and exotic cars is showcased in its full glory seven days a week. Seven expansive galleries feature World Cars, Corvettes, Ford/Shelby, Porsches, Fin Cars, Mopars and American Muscle and focus on eight decades (from the mid-1950s to current times) of modern industrial automotive design. The displays, enhanced with platforms and turntables for the cars, award-winning videos, commissioned artwork, have been carefully curated to appeal to men as well as women and to all generations, from grandparents to parents to children. A welcoming staff and friendly, knowledgeable docents figure high in the Tripadvisor reviews as does the inclusion of Mid-Century Modern furniture in the surroundings, a giant Gift Shop that wows, and free parking for more than 350 cars.

Corvettes, Fin Cars, and Porsches each have their own gallery (as do Ford/Shelbys, World Cars, Mopars, and American Muscle cars) at the Newport Car Museum
