Celebrate the opening of our Arms and Armor Galleries with weekly reenactments, demonstrations, and interactive displays!

Today, meet an ancient Greek warrior, a Roman soldier, a Persian cavalryman, and a pair of 15th-century Burgundian soldiers, who will introduce you to the arms and armor of their respective time periods and cultures.

Program subject to change.

This presentation will be held outside the Arms and Armor Galleries, and reservations are not required to attend. Timed-entry reservations are required to enter the Arms and Armor Galleries.

Bayt al-Asad, The House of the Lion, is a group dedicated to the research, practice, and education of the fighting arts and cultures of the Islamicate world from the 7th to 16th centuries. The group aims to spread information on these often-overlooked parts of the world through the practice of historical martial arts, experimental archeology, and academic research.
