Nature’s Highway: Flyway of Life

Documentary Screening & Filmmaker Talk

A Night of Film and Conservation

Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium, Bristol, RI

December 6, 2025; 4:00–7:30pm

SMITHFIELD, RI (November 12, 2025) – Step into the story of the Atlantic Flyway with a special screening of Flyway of Life, followed by a conversation with Rhode Island filmmaker and journalist, Tomas Koeck.

The Atlantic Flyway is the stream of life that balances ecosystems throughout the entire eastern side of North America. Without it, life would cease to maintain its balance and productive ecosystems would grind to a halt. Join explorer Tomas Koeck as he examines several unlikely relationships along this massive migratory chain that stems from South America and arcs out as far as Alaska.

Koeck is an award-winning filmmaker, having produced work for National Geographic, PBS Nature, the Smithsonian Channel, ESPN, and the National Audubon Society. Join him as he screens this amazing documentary at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center and Aquarium in Bristol, RI.

The evening includes:

A cocktail & mocktail reception starting at 4:00pm.

An opportunity to meet guests from the Atlantic Shark Institute and an Audubon Avian Ambassador.
