PAWTUCKET MAYOR DONALD GREBIEN

Dear neighbor,

I hope you all had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving with your family.

As we continue the holiday season, we hope you can attend some of the fun, family-friendly events that are happening throughout our city.

On Sunday, November 30, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Councilwoman Marlena Martins Stachowiak will host the Annual Fairlawn Tree Lighting at Nathaniel Greene Elementary School (285 Smithfield Avenue). This event has many treats and surprises in store and has become a time-honored tradition.

In partnership with Pawtucket Promotes, join us for Illuminating the Holidays on Saturday, December 6, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at the Blackstone Valley Visitor’s Center (175 Main Street).

To celebrate Hanukkah, which begins December 14th and continues through December 22nd, the City will host the Annual Hanukkah Celebration, in collaboration with the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island, on Monday, December 15th, at 4:30 pm. The event will be held in City Council Chambers at City Hall (137 Roosevelt Avenue, 3rd floor).

A Very Pawtucket City Hall-iday will be held on Thursday, December 18th, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, and will include festive caroling, hot cocoa, Santa Claus, and much more!

There are many wonderful events scheduled this holiday season, and we hope you can join us!

Sincerely,

Mayor Donald R. Grebien
