SKYDOG FARM THANKSGIVING REFLECTIONS

Beloved Kind Tribe,

No matter when these words find you—morning hush, evening quiet, or any moment in between—we invite you to soften for a breath and settle into yourself.

Place a hand over your heart.
Think of three things you’re grateful for today.
Let the mind loosen its grip.
Let the warmth rise and move through you, unhurried.
Give yourself permission to savor it.

This world asks a great deal of all of us. Yet gratitude, when we let it in, steadies the ground beneath our feet. It reminds us that life keeps offering itself—quietly, persistently—even in seasons where we feel stretched or uncertain. Each small moment of appreciation becomes a refuge we can return to again and again.

Today, we are grateful for the simple gift of being able to serve this community in the ways we do. Whether you connect with us from afar, ripple your energy into the field in subtle and unseen ways, or gather here in person for Red Tents, plant walks, fellowships, potlucks or solstice. ceremonies—your presence is felt. It infuses this land with a warmth and vitality that anyone who visits can sense.

We are grateful for Paul and Laura, whose trust and generosity placed this land into our hands. Without them, there would be no sanctuary to tend. And to all the land stewards before us—those who cared for this soil, worked it, rested upon it, and loved it—thank you. Your devotion remains alive in every root, every stone, every season that unfolds here.

And we are deeply grateful for each of you. Your curiosity, your compassion, your willingness to walk this rewilding path with us—you are what makes the Kind Tribe a living, breathing sanctuary.

As the day settles and the light softens, may gratitude move gently through your spirit. May it remind you of what is still possible, still beautiful, still worth tending. And may it affirm what we all know deep down to be true: none of us are walking alone.

With gratitude,
Katherine & Mark
