Providence, R.I. — Haus of Codec invites the public to a special gallery night celebrating the opening of This Is My Home, a new group exhibition exploring the meaning of “home” through the eyes of artists connected to the organization. The event will take place on Saturday, December 6, from 5–8 p.m. at the Haus of Codec Art Gallery in downtown Providence.
This Is My Home brings together current and former residents of Haus of Codec whose work reflects on belonging, memory, identity, safety, and community. The exhibition asks visitors to consider how “home” can be a physical place — but also a feeling, a memory, a chosen family, or a dream of the future.
Whether rooted in a neighborhood, a sound, a body, or an imagined possibility, the show invites community members to reflect on their own connection to home.
