Before Lexington and Concord: The Road to Revolution Runs Through Attleboro.
In a special event honoring the 250th anniversary of the nation, Richard Foster will present a program about Attleboro’s place in our country’s history.
The Attleboro Historic Preservation Society will be partnering with the Attleboro Arts Museum.
Visitors are invited to view the museum’s “Focus on the Past” exhibit (open at 6) and hear the lecture (beginning at 6:45 PM).
Focus on the Past is a nod to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The permanent collection items on view either relate to U.S. history, were created by iconic U.S. artists, or represent a slice of America’s past.
The exhibited original art was inspired by these artifacts. Attleboro Arts Museum, 86 Park Street, Attleboro.
