Much of recent Irish history is reflected in the content of the songs of Irish singers and in their own personal history.
Each week you will be introduced to a singer whose life and work will be examined for what it tells us about recent Irish history.
Biographical facts and video of their most important works will be used.
This four-week course will focus on four of the most famous Irish singers: Percy French, Christy Moore, Sinead O’Connor and Van Morrison.??
This class meets in the Photography & Digital Arts Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.
