Back-to-School Events Planned for downtown NA
Downtown Associates of North Attleborough’s annual Back-to-School Shuffle and Back-to-School Fair will be held on Wed., August 21, 2019 in Veteran’s Park, downtown North Attleborough from 4:45 – 7:00 pm.
Tickets for the “Shuffle” will go on sale at 4:45 pm in Veteran’s Park, at the corner of South Washington and Bank Street. Tickets are $3 or 2 for $5, and only 250 will be sold.
Each student will get a tote bag and a brightly-colored ticket listing all participating businesses by “bus stop” location, then they walk from business to business throughout downtown to collect school supplies.
Only children entering preschool through 6th grade are eligible to participate, and the child MUST be present when the ticket is purchased.
The Back-to-School Fair is intended to be a resource for parents looking to prepare, protect, educate and inspire their children for the upcoming school year! We invite businesses from throughout our community so busy families can make the best decisions for their childrens’ education.
Any business that cares about kids is welcome, and our goal is to present parents a variety of options that will make their choices wise ones.
State Rep. Betty Poirier will be collecting non-perishable food items, paper goods and personal care items to benefit Lenore’s Pantry. She will be located in Veteran’s Park.
