Improv Workshops for Kids & Teens
These workshops are for kids and teens who want an introduction to the creative world of improvisation. Students will learn the art of listening, saying yes, being present, and using those skills to create characters and to build worlds! In a judgement free environment, students will be led through some basic improv exercises and fun games where they can develop communication and collaboration skills.
Whether you’re brand new to improv or have played a bunch already, you are guaranteed to have fun because that’s what improv is all about!

Kids Improv (Ages 7-12) Date/time: Monday, Feb. 20th & 10 AM -12 PM
Teen Improv Workshop (Ages 13-17)
Date/time: Thursday, Feb. 23rd 10 AM – 12 PM
Instructor: Kate Teichman
A Midwesterner transplant, Kate has her B.F.A. in theater from Ohio University and is an IO Chicago trained improvisor.
Kate has worked as a teaching artist and performer for almost 20 years in theater, sketch comedy and improv.
She has taught both kids and adults classes in schools, theater organizations, and hospital settings. She loves helping people tap into their creativity and can not wait for all the hilarious things you are going to say!
