Women in World Jazz to Perform at Linden Place
Bristol, R.I.- Linden Place Mansion is thrilled to welcome the internationally acclaimed jazz ensemble Women in World Jazz for a live performance on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the historic Carriage House Ballroom.
Known for its unique ambiance and excellent acoustics, the Carriage House offers an ideal setting for this global musical celebration.
Women in World Jazz presents an engaging and educational performance for audiences of all ages. This all-female, multicultural ensemble showcases a vibrant mix of jazz standards and world music, highlighting musical traditions from across the globe. The program features rhythms and melodies from Cuba’s cha cha, Cape Verde’s Coladeira, and traditional songs from Israel, Brazil, and Japan — all blended with beloved jazz classics. The concert promises to be both inspiring and family-friendly, offering an enriching cultural experience through music.
