SKYDOG FARM AND SANCTUARY

Kind Tribes, Wild Gardens, and the Beauty of Showing Up

Dear Friends,

With spring now fully awake around us, I want to begin with a heartfelt thank you. Through the recent rain-outs, ongoing kitty drama, and the general ebb and flow of life, your steady support—over the years and now—has never gone unnoticed.

We’re grateful beyond words that the Kind Tribe continues to grow, rooted in shared care and reciprocity.

Skydog was always meant to be a sanctuary for the community, and what a beautiful thing it is that the community has become a sanctuary for us in return. In a world that often feels a little upside down, this mutual offering of presence and love is no small thing.

This Saturday, May 10th from 2–4pm, we’re hosting a Pay What You Can Pop-Up Apothecary & Nursery here at the farm.

Bring a shovel and bucket if you’d like to dig your own raspberry and elderberry plants. Some are already potted, and a sweet selection of volunteer plants—moved lovingly from the garden paths—are ready to root themselves in new places.

I also have a few succulent plants and cuttings for sale—rescued from my reluctance to part with the Valentine’s Collection giveaway.

If you’re looking for herbal support, I welcome you to consult with me about what you need. I’m happy to share from my small-batch apothecary: tinctures, dried herbs, and a handmade cannabis and coconut oil salve—all crafted with herbs grown right here on the farmstead with care and intention.

Come say hello, breathe deep, and spend a little time in the gardens.

Katherine & Mark
