About Peter C. Stone

Since 1983, artist/author/educator Peter C. Stone has presented more than sixty solo shows and over one hundred group exhibitions at galleries and museums in the United States, Canada, and England, including Art Expo New York, the Royal Academy of Arts, London, the Peabody Essex Museum, and the DeCordova Museum.

A knowledgeable educator whose enthusiasm for observing the natural world is contagious, Peter’s “dreamy…evocative” (School Library Journal) paintings and books explore the evolutionary wisdom and interconnectedness of endangered creatures, cultures, and ecosystems.

Join a yoga class designed to welcome individuals of all abilities, ages, and body types. Discover the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga in a weekly class led by Audra Andrade, a yogini who lives with low-vision.This class is suitable for those living with low vision or blindness. Audra creates a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and hand towel

Host, Kate Frazer Rego

Kate Frazer Rego is an artist and educator living in the South Coast of Massachusetts. She attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth College of Visual and Performing Art, where she earned a BFA in Sculpture. She went on to earn her MFA from Boston University’s College of Fine Art. Kate has shown her work nationally and is currently in several private collections. She currently is included in the group show, “Beyond Binary” at BCC’s Grimshaw-Gudewicz Gallery. Her work spans multiple media including sculpture, installation, mixed media, painting, performance, and puppetry.

Kate has been an art educator in public charter schools and art organizations across the Southcoast for the past ten years. Her pedagogy focuses on process, building strong studio habits within her scholars, and art history through a lens of inclusion and social justice. When she’s not teaching for the Commonwealth, she’s holed up in her studio with a cup of coffee.
