HISTORIC DISTRICT WALKING TOUR

3:00 – 4:30 PM (guided tours each ½ hour)
Join AHPS and AAIM for a joint program introducing the City’s newest Historic District! The Jewelry District is a compact area of downtown that contains the largest concentration of extant industrial resources associated with jewelry manufacturing.
Buildings and contributing resources in and around the district reflect the evolution and growth of the industry from the late 19th century through the mid 20th century
The ½ mile walk is on flat, paved ground and estimated to take between 30-45 min. We will start and end at the Industrial Museum.
At the Industrial Museum guides will highlight the innovations, components, and products from the district.
Please wear appropriate shoes and dress for the weather.
Free and open to the public.
