Dear Pawtucket Residents,
On behalf of the City of Pawtucket, I am proud to announce that the City of Pawtucket will be joining the AARP Nationwide Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities.

A formal announcement event will take place on Tuesday, September 30th, at 12:00 pm at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center (420 Main Street, Pawtucket), and the public is invited to attend.
This event celebrates the tremendous collaboration of all our partners on the initiative, including: AARP-RI; Age-Friendly-RI; Office of Healthy Aging; LISC; City of Pawtucket’s Division of Senior Services; Pawtucket Senior Citizens Council; and the members of the Age-Friendly Pawtucket Task Force.
The City of Pawtucket is excited to collaborate with older residents and their caregivers (aged 45+) living in our city to ensure their needs are being met. Immediately following the event, a survey will launch, and we will begin receiving vital feedback.
I look forward to hearing directly from our community about how we can ensure the best quality of life for all our residents.
Hope to see you there!

Don Grebien
Sincerely,
Mayor Donald R. Grebien
City of Pawtucket
