Dear neighbor,
Thank you to everyone who joined us at City Hall-O-Ween last night. It is always so wonderful to bring our friends and neighbors together, and the smiles on the children’s faces made the event all the more enjoyable.

Last night also marked the kick-off of our citywide food drive to help support those impacted by the uncertainties surrounding EBT SNAP allocations.
The City of Pawtucket, the Pawtucket School Department, and the Pawtucket Housing Authority are coordinating a citywide effort to collect dry goods and non-perishable food items, which will be distributed to local community-based organizations serving families in need. Please see the flyers below for additional details.
Donations can be dropped off at Pawtucket City Hall, Fogarty Manor, or at any Pawtucket Public School or the Central Office during regular business hours.
To further assist residents affected by recent changes to food assistance programs, the City has also launched an Emergency SNAP Support Line 401-728-0500, est. 278, and is working to activate an emergency fund account to expand local relief efforts.
Together, these initiatives aim to ensure that no resident goes without access to food or essential support during this period of change. More information will be shared in the coming week(s).
If you or someone you know is experiencing hardship as a result of the suspension of SNAP benefits, please click here to access our SNAP Resource Guide.
Sincerely,

Mayor Donald R. Grebien
City of Pawtucket
