Fri, Dec 5, 730. Come experience a grand adventure with musicians Ana and Vira. Commune with the performers, other members of the audience, and even yourself in this soul-nourishing performance! Ana and Vira draw from the classical repertoire of solo piano, opera, and art songs as well as musical theater, folk, and dance music. They pride themselves on performing compositions of great beauty to transport the audience into different realms.
During the performance, Ana and Vira speak in depth about the songs they play and give viewers insight into their connection with the pieces. Expect humor, warmth, and reflection. As Georgian Americans (Ana) and Ukrainian Americans (Vira), it is important to them to incorporate and celebrate the musical traditions of their countries and explore the joys that other musical influences offer. A GREAT musical experience perfect for a Cape Cod Christmas!
Celtic duo Stanley & Grimm entertain with a celebration of traditional music through old and new interpretations of jigs, reels, and songs played with lively fiddle, guitar, and voice. Fiddler Nikki Engstrom and singer/guitarist Sean Brennan create a musical journey through a bounty of fiddle tunes and ballads of all origins, alongside modern tunes and songs they have composed.
Their second CD, Another Round, was awarded the Celtic Radio Music Award for the 2008 Album of the Year and also took top honors in the “Jigs & Reels” category. Celtic Radio Network describes their music as “emotionally stirring, exhilarating, perfectly splendid!” The infectious fun they have on stage and their intense playing have helped them to become fan favorites on the New England traditional music scene.

Since 2006, this has been the only Jazz Jam on Cape Cod. Professional and student musicians perform Jazz Standards with Fred Boyle on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass, and Bart Weisman on drums.
