Jazz, Blues, and a few surprises come together for an intimate Valentine’s Day concert celebrating the timeless spirit of live music. Inspired by the Jazz legends who paved the way and the young artists eager to carry Jazz into the future, this evening is a heartfelt tribute to the music and the community that keeps it thriving. It’s also a nod to the fans and venues whose support is vital to keeping live music alive.
On February 14, Tish Adams (voice) and Fred Boyle (piano) will bring you a close up, warmly lit night of song and swing. Expect rich storytelling, beautiful melodies, and that unmistakable spark that only happens when great musicians share a room with a listening audience. A Valentine’s show for all lovers of Jazz—whether you’re celebrating with someone special or simply in love with the music.

Since 2006, this has been the only Jazz Jam on Cape Cod. Professional and student musicians perform Jazz Standards with Fred Boyle on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass, and Bart Weisman on drums.

Jazz in the Schools Presentation – Open To All Ages

The Jazz in the Schools Program was started in 2014 by Bart Weisman, Founder, Executive Producer & Performer for the Provincetown Jazz Festival. For many children this is their first chance to hear live Jazz and participate in a program to learn about Jazz history and all styles of Jazz. This program is for the entire school and presented by Bart Weisman on drums from Orleans with Fred Boyle on piano from South Yarmouth and Rich Hill on bass from East Falmouth. Presentations have been made at public schools across Cape Cod and all of this at no cost to the schools. The program is funded by the non-profit Provincetown Jazz Festival.
