VoteVets PAC Endorses Seth Moulton for Senate
“Seth is the type of leader we can trust to not just stand up for values, but actually fight for them and deliver results”

Washington, DC. – Today, VoteVets PAC is announcing that it is endorsing Seth Moulton for Senate in Massachusetts. The second time this cycle VoteVets is backing a challenge to an incumbent, the endorsement of Seth today follows VoteVets endorsement last week of Luke Bronin.
VoteVets has long been an ally of Moulton, first endorsing him during his 2014 upset victory for Congress. Seth first answered the call to serve after his college mentor, the Reverend Professor Peter Gomes, told him that it’s not enough to salute the flag – you have to find your own way to serve your country.
Just days after graduating from college in 2001, and months before the attacks of 9/11, Seth decided to join the United States Marine Corps. As the leader of an infantry platoon, he was in the very first company of Marines to enter Baghdad in 2003. Despite his vocal disagreements with the war, he served four tours because he “never wanted someone else to go in his place.”
The following quote can be attributed to VoteVets Senior Advisor, Former Congressman Max Rose:
“Seth has never lost sight of the fact that it is an honor to participate in public service in its purest form. His north star has always been doing the right thing and looking out for the people he was elected to represent. We are living in unprecedented times that call for new, bold, tested leadership. Seth is the type of leader we can trust to not just stand up for our values, but actually fight for them and deliver results. We are proud to be with Seth and helping him to secure victory again.”

Background:
Last cycle alone, VoteVets spent $50 million helping to elect VoteVets-endorsed candidates. Our investments proved to be effective in helping candidates get across the finish line and we were able to see a success rate at a time when other Democrats were not as successful. Thanks in part to our investments, 143 VoteVets-endorsed candidates clinched victory amidst a global rightward lurch.
