The Drama of Nature and Our Emotions

A Series of Acrylic Paintings by Marianne Koslosky

Community Gallery

The Community Gallery is located in the lobby of the Attleboro Arts Museum’s Emory Street entrance.

For over a decade the Museum has been pleased to offer this prominent gallery space as an exhibition opportunity for both promising and professional artist members. Community Gallery artist exhibitions span multi-month periods. This extended exhibition period provides member artists more exposure in the museum’s high-traffic Community Gallery space.

A longer show allows visitors to spend more time with the works on display and provides an opportunity for the scheduling of special group tours and visits with coincinding exhibits in the main gallery.

The Drama of Nature and Our Emotions

A Series of Acrylic Paintings by Marianne Koslosky are on view. “My work is inspired by the changing beauty of nature and the emotions we experience in life. I focus on light and how it moves and changes, shaping how we see the world outside and the feelings inside us.

When choosing what to paint, I trust my instincts. I watch and wait until a color or moment catches my attention. This often leads me to places where the sky meets the land or sea, places full of energy and beauty that I want to share.

I have a deep respect and love for nature. Its calmness and strength inspire me to show its beauty through my art,” comments Marianne Koslosky of North Attleboro, MA.
