Spring Zoocademy for Kids

Attleboro, MA ??? April 3, 2018: Capron Park Zoo is offering fun and educational programs to children age 9-11 during the Spring Vacation week. Programs will run Tuesday, April 17 through Friday April 20 from 9 AM to 3 PM.?? Pre-registration is required.
Tuesday(4/17): (En)DANGER!
With Earth Day coming up soon, it???s a great day to take a look at some of the zoo???s endangered species. In the afternoon, a real conservation biologist will be joining the group to share his expertise and do a shark dissection with the kids. This program includes an animal dissection
Wednesday (4/18): BUILD A BETTER HOME
The art of building a zoo exhibit is what will be explored during this program. Kids will talk to the chief exhibit designers (and builders) here at the zoo AND enjoy a ???sneak peek??? at the new rainforest before it opens. This program includes behind the scenes exploration
Thursday (4/19): CALL OF THE WILD
Who inspires you to answer the ???Call of the Wild???? Steve Irwin? Marlin Perkins? Jack Hanna? This program will look at a few famous conservationists and how they were able to help preserve and protect both wild and captive animals. This program includes some behind the scenes exploration.
Friday(4/20): KEEPER KAPERS
A requested perennial favorite, kids will do keeper work, make diets and more! This program includes behind the scenes exploration
FEES: Capron Park Zoo Members: $45/day or $160 for all four days
Non-Members: $55/day or $200 for all four days
