POETRY SLAM
On Friday, June 10th, the Attleboro Arts Museum will host teams from the Boston Poetry Slam, the Providence Poetry Slam, and the 7 Hill Poetry Slam from Worcester in a live poetry competition. Visitors to the Museum that evening will enjoy a poetry open mic and top-notch performance competition, including an opportunity to judge the slam.
The event will be hosted by Boston Poetry Slam MC Simone Beaubien. Beaubien has directed the Boston Poetry Slam???s weekly show since 2004 and presented annual poetry slams at the Museum since 2007.
All members of the public are invited to attend to listen, read in the open mic, or judge the slam. Admission is free, although donations to the museum will be graciously accepted.
