UNITED CHAMBER TEACHER OF THE YEAR

The United Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our 2016 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Anne Sullivan, fifth grade teacher at the Joseph W. Martin, Jr. elementary school in North Attleboro.

Sandy Vandette from Bristol County Savings Bank, Mrs. Anne Sullivan, Dr. Danielle Klingaman, Principal at the Joseph W. Martin, Jr. elementary school and Jack Lank, President of The United Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Anne Sullivan has been a teacher in the North Attleboro public schools for more than 20 years. She is a fifth grade teacher who fills her classroom with exciting and challenging activities that keep her students engaged and learning non-stop.

Mrs. Sullivan is a technology leader in the Joseph W. Martin, Jr. Elementary school where she fearlessly utilizes technology, interactive white boards, tablets, and computers. She challenges herself and her students to learn and master these technologies, preparing her students for the future.

The Teacher of the Year program and breakfast is sponsored by the Bristol County Savings Bank and they award the teacher of the year $1,000. We will be honoring Mrs. Sullivan at our Spotlight on Education Breakfast on Thursday at Lake Pearl Luciano’s.
