Providence, Rhode Island, June 17, 2016??? The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is pleased to announce it will offer special shuttle service to the 35TH Annual Great Chowder Cook-Off taking place at Fort Adams State Park on Saturday, June 18, 2016.??
Passengers may board the ???Special??? RIPTA bus at the Newport Gateway Center to go to the Chowder-Cook-Off and then make their return trip at any of the scheduled times.??
Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at clearly marked Great Chowder Cook-Off bus stops, located at the Newport Gateway Center and Fort Adams State Park.
Service is available on a first come, first served basis. Newport Waterfront Events is working closely with RIPTA to encourage event attendees to use public transpiration to this highly-attended event, as parking is limited.??
