After the Beanstalk: Jack, Jill and the Giant Monday, July 18?? ????? 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM Help Jack and his sister Jill solve the giant’s puzzling spatial challenges in an interactive performance that expands on the classic tale.?? Get Out! Weaving Wonders Tuesday, July 19?? ????? 1:00 – 3:00 PM Get out and play in the Museum???s Children’s Garden each Tuesday afternoon in July and August!?? This week, children explore the art of weaving with natural and recycled materials.
Wheels at Work: Bobcat Utility Vehicle Wednesday, July 20?? ????? 10:00 AM – Noon Climb aboard a Bobcat utility vehicle from Providence Public Works and learn how it moves earth.?? Explore a different vehicle each Wednesday morning in July and August!
Aurora Over the Silk Road Thursday, July 21?? ????? 1:00 – 2:30 PM Learn about the cultural diversity of the Silk Road in China.?? Enjoy an interactive performance with dance, music and games, and try hands-on activities to learn more about the people who live along one of the world’s oldest trade routes.??
Imagination Playground Friday, July 22 ????? 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Kids invent their own ways to play as they stack and build with huge blue foam blocks, wheels, spools, tubes and a variety of loose parts.?? MetLife Family Friday | Car Seat Check ALSO Friday, July 22?? ????? 5:30 – 7:30 PM Technicians from the Injury Prevention Center at Lifespan will check car seats for safety, and provide parents with resources about car seat and passenger safety. Spatial Thinkers Saturday, July 23 & Sunday, July 24?? ????? 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Kids explore shapes and spaces in Discovery Studio, the Museum???s open-ended art and science exploration space.??
