Tish Adams Jazz Sextet to perform on July 20th!
Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 6:30pm marks Vocalist Tish Adams??? third appearance in Weaver Library???s Summer Concerts Series. This season, she is excited to share two ???up and coming??? local saxophone players, with her faithful Weaver audience. Recently adopted into Tish???s musical family, Leland Baker (Tenor) and Dave???? Murphy (Alto) are??graduates??of??the??University of Rhode Island.??
The will??join??Adams??and??her??longtime??musical friends, John Funkhouser (keys) and Dave Landoni (acoustic bass). She also brings RI native, Mike Connors (drums) back home for this event. Attendees are encouraged to a lawn chair or blanket. Don???t worry about dinner: Portu-Galo, East Providence???s favorite food truck will be on site!??????
