CFF Ragdoll Fanciers Club Winter Cat Show at Diamond Hill State Park

CUMBERLAND – The Cat Fanciers Federation (CFF)??in conjunction with the??Ragdoll Fanciers Club presents??its 12th annual Winter Cat Show on Saturday and Sunday, Jan.7 and 8,??at 4097 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI
The show is open to the public both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ragdoll cats will be featured, but there will be??many other??breeds being shown and judged in four rings??each day. Additional breeds will include??Maine Coon, Scottish Fold, Himalayan, Siamese, Abyssinian, Persian, and even a special category for household??pets. The household pet class is made up of either non-purebred cats or purebreds that can not be shown in the breed class.
There will be vendor and information booths, raffles, and Massachusetts Feline Intervention Alliance, a rescue and adoption agency, will have photos and information on their cats for adoption.????
Admission to the cat show is $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors, children under 6 free. ; children 5 and younger get in free.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local cat shelter. In addition to seeing the cats and discussing them with their breeders, visitors can also watch as judges evaluate and choose the cats that they see as best in their ring each day. Those attending can vote for their favorite cat, and the cat with the most votes will be given the Spectators Choice Award.
Massachusetts Feline Intervention Allicance will offer cat merchandise, and lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day.
The building at Diamond Hill Park is handicap accessible. It’s located at 4097 Diamond Hill Road in northern Cumberland.
