Provincetown, MA, March 8, 2017: The regional winners of the Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contest will take to the stage to read their poems at the Wellfleet Preservation Hall on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:30 pm, when WOMR???s Jeannette de Beauvoir introduce the poets. The evening will end with readings from award-winning novelist and poet Marge Piercy, the finalist contest judge.

“Once again, it was a pleasure to read the work of many accomplished poets for this contest,??? said Marge Percy. ???The national contest drew such fine work from all over the States that, like in past years, I had some problems choosing among them. I could have given several awards. The regional contest also had talented winners, demonstrating that Cape Cod still draws exceptional writers.???
