CAROL

“Being a Hospice volunteer is a time to forget about ‘self’ and all other commitments and be ‘with’ physically, emotionally, and spiritually a family member or patient who is experiencing terminal illness. I have met so many inspirational people and listened to so many diverse life stories that I feel enriched and stronger. I am basically shy, and I deal with it by asking others about themselves.”
