Hebron Food Pantry will hold its Sixth Annual Fun Walk on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Willett Field, Attleboro.
Hebron is looking for walkers who want to join in a fun time of mild exercise, prizes, and the satisfaction of taking part in the fight against hunger.
The First Annual Fun Walk was originally organized by three CCRI students as a community wide event for all ages and walking abilities.
Last year, with increasing interest and participation, the walk grew dramatically – over 120 participants, 40 sponsors, raising $10,000 to fight hunger.
The Fun Walk returns this year bigger and better than ever. There will be new activities to put the FUN in Fun Walk. This year???s goal is 150 walkers, 50 sponsors, with a target of $12,000 raised.
Hebron needs your help. Walkers for the 2017 Hebron Fun Walk can register on May 20thth for only $25. Walkers who pre-register by May 5th will receive a T-shirt commemorating their participation in the walk.
To have your name on the T-shirts and other publicity materials: a $100 donation will put your name or company name on our T-shirts, a $250 donation will put your name in large letters, and for $500 a company logo can be placed on the shirts the walkers will be wearing.
??Deadline for sponsor names on T-shirts is May 5th. Registration on the day of the walk begins at 12:00 noon. The Fun Walk will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Willett Field, 32 Watson Avenue, Attleboro.
