LTE: “I VOTED?”

Dear Friends of the Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead,

B Nat_EDITED Greene_Color_Email_1_

On May 24??The Homestead will be hosting a fundraising screening of the documentary film I Voted? followed by a Q & A with the film???s director Jason Smith and Rob Rock, the Director of the State of Rhode Island Board of Elections.

The film presents a non-partisan look at where our votes go once we cast them.??

Unfortunately, the artwork provided by the promoting company from Los Angeles has caused much confusion, stating that the film stars Nathanael Greene, when it should say that he is featured in it.

The film does not star anyone as it is a documentary, although Gen. Nathanael Greene as well as Thomas Casey Greene (who still resides at the Nathanael Greene birthplace) are featured is the film.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

All the opinions in the film are those of the film makers and participants and not endorsed or representative of the Gen, Nathanael Greene Homestead Association.

Although, we do encourage you to view the film and join in the conversation concerning the vote and where it goes and how it is recorded.

We must sell a minimum of 78 tickets by May 17 for the screening to take place.

For ticket information or and other question, feel free to contact me

Thank you.

David M Procaccini, President

Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead
