Over the last five months, I???ve talked with Rhode Islanders in every part of our state. From my conversations with them, it???s clear that all they want is a shot to compete for a good job. That???s what Rhode Island Promise is all about.
There are tough choices to be made in the coming weeks, but I???m going to fight for Rhode Island Promise because we need to ensure that every Rhode Islander has access to the education and training they need to compete for the jobs Rhode Island companies are creating.
