East Providence, RI (June 27, 2017) – ???BEFORE THE FLOOD???, a National Geographic documentary on climate change starring Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, will be shown on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 6:30 PM, at the Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI.
DiCaprio, an environmental activist and U.N. Messenger of Peace, travels the world speaking to scientists and world leaders about the dramatic effects of climate change. He goes on expeditions with scientists uncovering the reality of climate change and meets with political leaders fighting against inaction.
Gretchen and Ned Gammons of East Bay Citizens for Peace will lead a discussion following the film.??
