Frosty Drew Nature Center???s program Field Studies For Families: Estuary Adventures offers a chance to explore the shore and shrub lands around Ninigret Pond and see the marine life within. Autumn is a special season at Ninigret salt pond: juvenile fish and invertebrates have grown to become adults, seaside plants are bearing their fruits, and tropical fish have strayed north thanks to summer storms and the Gulf Stream.
Register now to join Frosty Drew Nature Center naturalists on either Saturday, September 30, 2017 or on Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 9:30 am ??? 12:00 noon. All ages are welcome, and wear footwear you can wade in
Each program meets at the Grassy Point parking lot at 9:30 am in the Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge. This is four-tenths of a mile past Frosty Drew Nature Center and Observatory, 61-62 Park Lane, Charlestown, RI 02813.
Rain policy: Heavy downpour or thunderstorm will cancel; light rain or drizzle will not cancel. Please dress accordingly.
