The Weaver Library Farmers Market located at 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI, welcomes The Ladies of the Rolling Pin on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 6pm.??
The Ladies perform a unique blend of traditional Morris Dancing from Olde England interspersed with a generous helping of Yankee ingenuity and fun!??
Morris dancing, a mainstay of traditional England since the late 1400s, features jolly dancers wearing bells and using implements such as sticks, swords and handkerchiefs.
With live music and yes, rolling pins, this dance is perfect for our community farmers??? market!??
Enjoy the bounty of the summer season at the market, the instrumental music of Barry Brown at 4pm and dance at 6pm!
