SAINT JOHN’S SCHOOL ATTLEBORO

LENTEN SERVICE PROJECT TO HELP NEW HOPE

D SJS SJEpreklent

The Pre-K students from St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro recently collected crafts and teeth hygiene items for New Hope as their 6th Annual Lenten Service Project.

According to Pre-K teacher Mrs. Kim Cavanaugh, “The goal of the project is alms giving during Lent.

We try to help the children understand that there are others that are in need and we try for items that they understand and can pick out with their??parents.

This has been a great year. We have 13 baskets of items to share.”??

Shown here with the students and their baskets are Melanie Lucash, New Hope Education and Prevention Manager and PreK teachers Kim Cavanaugh and Tammy O’Malley.
