KP Drama &??the Grady Auditorium Production Staff (GAPS) are presenting the classic dark comedy, Arsenic & Old Lace, on Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th, 2018 beginning at 7 PM in the Dr. Richard K. Grady Theatre at King Philip Regional High School, 201 Franklin Street, in Wrentham, MA.????
Arsenic & Old Lace is the unique story of the Brewster family of Brooklyn, NY, descendants??of the famous Brewster family of Mayflower fame.?? The sweet, elderly Brewster sisters, Abby & Martha, preside over their ancestral??family estate with charm, grace and a dedication to charitable good works.?? Among their charities are providing soup for the sick, caring for their neighbor’s children, providing a comfortable home for their nephew Teddy (who delusionally??believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt), and murdering lonely elderly gentlemen to end their isolated suffering…!?!?? When their famous theatre critic nephew Mortimer discovers their latter??activities, then the real fun begins, especially when the third brother, Jonathan, a homicidal maniac on the run??from authorities, appears unexpectedly??at the house after twenty years absence.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and children under 12.??
