EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. ??? World War Women: The Unsung Heroines of WWII, a one-woman performance by History At Play founder and actress Judith Kalaora, debuts at the Weaver Library on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 7 pm.??

Made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the East Providence Public Library, this special performance features the stories of international women who risked their lives to defeat Fascism in World War II.

From organizing the resistance, to rescuing downed RAF pilots, testing new aircraft, and flying dangerous missions, these stories may very well be the most influential and often forgotten victories of the war.

Massachusetts-based History At Play has garnered nationwide attention for their living history performances, chronicling the lives of legendary women who defied odds to improve society.??

Kalaora’s programs have been accredited by multiple cultural organizations for creating enriching historical entertainment.

Weaver Library is located at 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI. ??
