??On Sunday, May 27th, Murray Unitarian Universalist Church will hold a service on the topic, ???Living with Dementia???.??
Guest presenters and spouses, the Rev. Jane Dwinell and Sky Yardley have been facing this challenge since Sky was diagnosed with probable early stage Alzheimer???s disease nearly two years ago. ??
??Sky, a retired family mediator, and Jane, a retired registered nurse, freelance writer, and Unitarian Universalist minister, will discuss their personal experiences with dementia to help to erase the stigma around this condition and offer support to others.??
They believe that individuals with dementia or other disabilities are not to be pitied or ignored, but to be treated with the full respect accorded to anyone.??
